Kuwait Art Association

Yesterday I went to Kuwait Art Association at Hawali to meet with the artist Abdulaziz Arti, also famous as a caricature artist in Al-Watan newspaper. I entered his work area, I saw him working on great painting with oil colors. I want to take lessons in character drawing and improve skills. I showed him my simple work in pencil, and he likes it. However, I need to go under 3 month intensive course in character drawing. Arti sketched a person wearing a suit in my sketch book. I am so glad that he draw it for me. I will put it in a frame and hang it in my room. We talked for about one hour, he showed me his realistic painting and some other student’s work. I cannot wait to start the course. I will post my work on this blog and show you my improvement, and comment on it. By the way, there is a gallery on Sunday for the artist Hussian kamal. Check it out!

Brazilian Bracelets

I don’t know what’s wrong with me today. I think I am bored because there is nothing to do, and I don’t like to go out that much, I am a homey person. Sometimes I like to do something interesting like drawing, painting, reading, or try to cook something :P.So today, I found a book that I used to have 5 or 6 years ago. It’s teaches you how to do bracelets. I think it’s really nice. I did many bracelets and gave them to my best friends, now I just did one for my mobile (blue, baby blue, white) I choose these colors because I have a blue mobile, and it’s my favorite color. I also did another one but I am not done with it yet. I’ll show you the 2 bracelets and the book.

لحظة صمت وذهول......

عندما يكون الانسان في غاية من الذهول.......لايجد نفسه الا اسيرا للصمت والتفكير....غارق في بحر الاوهام ...يتلفظ انفاسه الاخيرة ليستنجد بقارب الحياة...
وعند النجاة يرى انه في عالم الواقع المرير .....الذي لا مفر منه مصدوم بتلك اللحظات ......لحظات الصمت والذهول........

Pencil Drawing

Drawing by pencils makes me feel comfortable; also you can see the depth of the work. Sometimes when I look at any work that is drew by pencils, they somehow look real, and that’s the reason why it is one of my favorite way for drawing. These are some of my work. It took me almost an hour to draw each one of them.

My Leaves

This summer I had a course, an art class. In the class, they taught us how to draw a plant leaf like the natural one. However, we had to create our leaves design.

I have created three different leaves, then combined some parts of them together. Then, I end up with five different shapes but I posts my favorite two design (in black). I did the same thing with the other drawing that I colored. Honestly, when I took that class I never knew I was able to draw like this.

Rugrats

I guess all of you know who is this :) Tommy, he is my favorite character in " Rugrats". I drew Tommy when I saw his picture on a candy, and also wanted to know if I am able to resize the picture. I guess I did a good job :P
